A practical introduction to the trend towards feeding dogs in a natural and species-appropriate way With the debate raging about the most appropriate way to feed man"s best friend, more and more dog owners are realizing that feeding raw meat, combined with fresh vegetables and oils, is a cheaper and--more importantly--healthier alternative to dry dog food and canned meat. Some of the positive effects of this diet can be seen in healthy skin, a glossy coat, less body and mouth odor, and a strong immune system. The author explains the raw food diet for dogs in a clear and practical way, demonstrating a daily routine, describing the ingredients, and dispelling the prejudices. Practical shopping lists are also compiled, describing meats that are especially beneficial for dogs and keeping at the ready negative lists of harmful substances that should be avoided in the grocery store. Suitability for daily use and practical relevance are in the foreground, making the raw food diet easy for anybody to manage--

Literally the only thing that an otherwise healthy dog needs as a supplement is omega-3 fatty acids or fish oil (which is not necessary if you are feeding grass-fed meat). The E-book: "Raw Food For Dogs - the Ultimate Reference for Dog Owners" is everything you need to know to feed your dog natural dog food.. No matter what you feed and how you feed your canine companion - the information in this book will give you the confidence to continue or it will give you the reasons and the ways to change. A raw food diet for dogs consists of raw meat; uncooked bones either whole or ground; fruit, such as apples; vegetables including broccoli, spinach and celery; raw eggs; dairy, such as yogurt; and vitamin supplements in the proper dosage. Cats, on the other hand, can be picky eaters, preferring meat or fish and the associated “parts.”. The BARF (Bones and Raw Food) Diet is the diet that reacquaints the domesticated relative of the wolf, the dog, with the diet their body was designed to maintain homeostasis with. Dogs are carnivores, just like their genetically similar relative, the wolf.
